Colloquium (lat. colloquium – conversation, conversation) is a full-fledged scientific meeting, where pre-prepared reports (reports) are heard first, and then a complex process of discussing them takes place. At the same time, controversy based on the scientific knowledge of the participants in the discussion is not ruled out, since the conversation is held to clarify some details of the report and controversial points for the surroundings. At scientific colloquia, the conversation is no longer the curator and his listeners, but prominent philosophers and theorists, whose opinion will allow the speaker to reconsider his own scientific views on the basis of new ideas and scientific disputes.
